Jodha Akbar Sarees

Jodha Akbar Aishwarya Saree and jewellery

Talking of the costumes and jewelry, my friend just couldn’t take her eyes of Aishwarya and my mother wants to watch the movie only for that. Neeta Lulla and Tanishq have done a good job in dressing up the lead characters. Roshan looks every inch a royal and the moustache actually suits him. Aishwarya manages to look more beautiful and simple, even with kilos of jewels on her. Full marks for the lead characters but the extras were all dressed in a hurry; anyways there are hundreds of them. Nitin Chandrakant Desai’s sets look breath-taking in some shots and card-board cut outs in some but overall a decent job.

Well, what is more popular and hot topic about this film apart from the above discussions are the stunning jewellery worn by Jodha bai in the movie! The jewellery makes us look at them and then there is a sudden wow! The jewelry has brought about a great impact on the fashion trends in this section. People are now itself asking and ordering for these designs. Well, then let me tell you that who after all is worth this appreciation. It is Tanishq, which has designed and made these wonderful and miraculous jewellery.

Jodha Akbar Aishwarya Saree and jewelleryAnd these jewellery are made of pure gold and diamond. Nothing is fake for the sake of keeping the costs low. This wonderful collection has been designed with the combined effort of the team of 80 stylists who have made a great use of emeralds, rubies and pearls and diamonds. All the Jodha Akbar jewelleries done by Tanishq.

The earrings that have failed the danglers we have been seeing from years, they are as big to range form the ears to the shoulder line and that too studded absolutely with stones and diamonds. Look am falling short of words but these people did not fall short of diamonds! Nevertheless jewellery is not enough of hot issue besides the costumes of Aishwarya are stunning equally.

“During marriage of Aishwarya and Abhishek, there was a boom in the handloom industry in Benaras. In the latest film Jodha Akbar, Banarasi saris and Sherwanis made of Benaras silk have been worn. All of us are really happy that Banaras sari business is doing well. We also hope that their will be a boom in this business,” said Abu Sahi, a handloom unit owner.

As one of he owners of a handloom unit mentioned, no sooner than any film features the matchless artistry of Benaras, a huge demand is seen despite short skirts and other designer ware dictating the trends in fashion industry.

Popular fashion designer Neeta Lulla has taken fabrics for costumes in the film from Benaras. She wanted the characters in the film to create a feel of traditional as well as authentic.

Aishwarya will be seen wearing Banarasi saris with a detailed work of embroidery done on her costumes in the period film.

Widely known for their appeal, the traditional Banarasi saris have been a prized possession for almost any well-off woman’s wardrobe for generations. Besides, these saris are also a big fascination for various celebrities, especially from Bollywood.
